Various mock blood vessel phantoms are optionally available.
Pulsating flow can be used in several patterns like coming in from bottom then coming out from bottom, and also coming in from bottom then coming out from head.
Other mock phantoms such as stricture, aneurysm and perfusion are also available for tests.
●Educational model
By building an average blood vessel model inside, HB-1 can be used as an educational tool. Education contents include a grasp of three-dimensional positions of blood vessels, confirmation of blood flow and device training for blood vessel treatment.
●CT phantom
By building various phantoms inside HB-1, which is as big as a human body, a phantom test for both single-energy CT and dual-energy CT can be done. As for a phantom to be built inside, please contact us for any customization. Since pulsating liquid can be flowed inside, a test on a perfusion phantom or an aneurysm phantom can be done as well.
●MR phantom
Since HB-1 is all made of non-metal, it can be used as a phantom for MR purpose.
HB-1 is almost as big as a human body so that any part of the body can be imaged in a test. Other phantoms such as a straight tube, a U-shaped tube, a blood vessel model based on DICOM data and a perfusion phantom can be built inside HB-1, which enables a phantom test with constant flow or pulsating flow. ●X-ray angiography phantom
